The integrated carbon fiber tail has been put into mass production on a large scale

The "tail wing", also known as the "spoiler", is commonly found in sports cars and sports cars. It can effectively reduce the air resistance generated by the car during high-speed driving, achieve the goal of fuel conservation, and have a good exterior decoration effect.

The main function of the tail wing is to generate a fourth force of air on the car, which is the adhesion to the ground. It can counteract a portion of the lift, control the car to float up, reduce the impact of wind resistance, and enable the car to travel close to the road, thereby improving driving stability.

The existing tail wing processes mostly use plastic injection molding or fiber composite material vacuum injection molding, but there are some drawbacks:

1. The injected tail wing has insufficient rigidity and strength, so its service life is short

2. The surface appearance of the plastic tail wing and vacuum injection molded tail wing does not have aesthetics, which cannot meet the requirements of high-end models for a unique and exquisite appearance

3. The traditional tail wing is combined into an overall shape through a secondary bonding process, but this manufacturing method has shortcomings such as low processing efficiency, easy warping and deformation of the product, and the bonding gap seriously affects the appearance.

Nowadays, the HRC team has explored a series of manufacturing and testing technologies, including material verification, structural design, simulation analysis, mold development, CNC tooling development, adhesive tooling development, and testing technology. They have overcome difficulties one by one and successfully developed an integrated carbon fiber tail.

The carbon fiber tail has a complex shape, exquisite appearance, strict functional requirements, strong mechanical performance, and meets the lightweight requirements, with a total weight of less than 1.6 kilograms.

Carbon fiber tail advantages:

1. Integrated molding technology can ensure stable mass production of products. This not only improves production efficiency, but also saves development costs and reduces costs.

2. This process can reduce the bonding process and avoid warping and deformation during the bonding process. And the unique design of this product can highlight the overall sportiness of the vehicle.

3. Easy to install and disassemble for maintenance, better meeting customers' requirements for vehicle assembly.

4. Carbon fiber is lightweight and high modulus, with a total weight of less than 1.6 kilograms. The product also meets more than 30 performance verifications such as 5-200HZ high-frequency vibration testing and -30 ℃ low-temperature impact testing.
